12 - 24 Month Old Infants
Our infant center welcomes and values every child's developmental phase. We provide an environment where teachers, children, and their families are encouraged to interact and develop strong relationships. In our hope to give each infant individualized personal care. While in our care, the children are stimulated through music, exercise, outdoor time, facial and verbal mimicking as well as lots of hugs and tickles.
2 Year Old Toddlers
Our toddlers are offered a variety of opportunities to explore their world through play. Gross motor skills and social skills are developed through both structured and unstructured play. At this age, children are meeting new challenges as fast as they come. Crawling, walking and eventually running are levels they accomplish in what seems like a blink of an eye. Children learn best if they are in a stimulating environment. Music, stories, outdoor play, and learning simplicity envelop much of the day. Our caregivers are dedicated to helping each child develop these skills through a trusting and loving relationship.
3 Year Old Pre-K
Although it may seem like fun and games to preschoolers, the curriculum we follow is packed with educational elements. games abound that teach pre-reading skills like phonemic awareness and letter and sound recognition, basic math concepts and hands-on science exploration. Our caregivers are dedicated to helping each child develop these skills through trust and a loving relationship. Also we provide HISD( Harris Independent School District) qualified teachers teaching Pre K-3 curriculum.
4 & 5 Year Old Pre-K
We designed the room to stimulate your child’s desire to learn and have fun in a relaxed environment.The class stimulates your child’s interest in learning. Through discovery centers, we encourage your child to ask questions, search for answers and explore. games abound that teach pre-reading skills like phonemic awareness and letter and sound recognition, basic math concepts and hands-on science exploration. Foreign languages, Spanish alphabet, numbers, words and Songs. Using developmentally appropriate materials, we support your child’s interest in all areas of learning. Each day, the room arrangement indirectly guides your child through his/her lessons. Using developmental appropriate materials matched with The Childhood Center’s unique curriculum, your child gains the skills necessary to make a smooth transition into kindergarten. Our caregivers are dedicated to helping each child develop these skills through trust and a loving relationship. Also we provide HISD( Harris Independent School District) qualified teachers teaching Pre K-4 curriculum.
6 to 12 Year Old After School Program
